Our experience was fantastic. We had never been before and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The food was exceptional we had Sunday lunch and found the roast beef our favourite main. The piano player in the background was a beautiful accompaniment to a great meal. The choice of wines lovely, and the service was top class.

The booking service system worked well and was simple to use. The service was friendly and timely. We were looked after well without being overpowered. The food was delicious and we enjoyed all courses. The lunch menu had not changed in the three months since my last visit which I found disappointing.

All of the food was exquisite, love the nibbles and the 2 fish dishes were perfect. The cheese and port capped a wonderful meal. Staff were super attentive but relaxed. 6 Stars!

Gave wrong main meal to one on table of three, didn't offer bread to go with the Terrine (Very necessary) or bread at all ! Had to ask, Food utterly delicious Service not perfect but done with charm mostly. Some are local not professional View and ambience Delightful. Even though outside was pouring rain. If one is sticks to lunch menu, very affordable for such excellent food. My guests cannot wait to take friends. I will go very happily for a fourth time knowing all the rules and tables. Will now definitely consider the main restaurant .
