Part of the Dorchester Collection, The Barn at the tranquil Coworth Park serves a delectable menu full of traditional English classics. The rustic dining area is set against the backdrop of Coworth Park’s 240 acres of picturesque parkland.
At Coworth Park, The Barn’s reformed oak tables and stone floors create a rustic feel, while a decorative brick fireplace dominates a wall and floor-to-ceiling windows look out to an al fresco dining area in the courtyard. The 1st-floor bar boasts stunning views across the Berkshire countryside.
In keeping with the undeniably English atmosphere at Coworth Park, The Barn menu features traditional English dishes such as Mr Chubbs battered haddock and chips, the famous Coworth Park burger and chef's seasonally changing signature pie. The dessert menu is equally traditional with rhubarb crumble tart, elderflower and berry trifle and chocolate and hazelnut ice cream sandwich amongst the fine selection available.
Two English institutions, Ascot Racecourse and the Wentworth Club are within a 10-minute drive of The Barn at Coworth Park.

Service, food and views were all brilliant. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Lovely setting and lovely food. We received a phone call prior to our visit to ask if we were celebrating anything and whether there were any food allergies in the dining party ... I had already stated yes and described each when I booked. However, on the day there was no mention of our celebration and we were yet again asked about allergies! It didn't distract from the experience, we had a lovely meal, but it was a bit pointless going to the trouble of asking!

Very nice but very cheeky 14% service charge which, frankly, is far too much, especially for a pensioner!

Lovely setting in grounds of coworth park..The food was excellent and the service very prompt.Staff friendly and polite . Easy parking . They rang me shortly after booking to see if we had any allergies and if it was a celebration of any kind which I thought was great.

A quite delightful experience - superb setting, excellent food and a wonderful waitress ( originally from Assisi). We have been for lunch on several occasions and we have been most impressed every time.

Second visit here. Service is excellent and the venue is excellent, however very underwhelmed by the food. The crab with hazelnut starter just didn’t work and the ribeye steak was inedible. The restaurant didn’t charge for the steak but I would rather have paid for and enjoyed the food. My fellow diners weren’t particularly impressed either. For a Bistro type affair charging in excess of £60 a head (with drinks), I expect much more.
