Went on a sunny warm Friday evening and it was heaving inside and out! Good job I'd booked! Lots of people moaning about the wait for food and drink, didn't bother us as we had a lot to catch up on. Food was well worth the wait, hot and delicious. The staff catered very well under the circumstances, hats off to them.

Very disappointed poor service waited 30 minutes before given a menu then another 45 minutes for food. Seemed as though they couldn't cope and staff training required. We were also charged £2 for tap water. Food when it arrived was only warm

The food was absolutely delicious, everyone enjoyed their meal, it was beautifully cooked and served. The staff was extremely polite and helpful and the services, considering how busy the restaurant was, was very good.

Unfortunately the experience wasn't a good one! I have visited many times and had great food but on this occasion it was poor. We had to wait for an hour and half for the main which was cold.

good food for adults and very pleasant staff. child menu not good. only peas offered as veg and the chunky chips are not really what children like to eat. french fries would be better.

The fillet steak was exceptional but there were no where near enough chips. The duck salad was a complete rip off at £12.95 with just a few gem lettuce leaves and a small handful of duck that looked like croutons. It was starter size rather than a main course. If we were not getting 25%off it would have gone back. We had wanted to order roast chicken but at 7pm on a Saturday evening it had run out.
