We had the prix fixe menu. Three courses for £34. The food was excellent and he ambience was very good. The only downside was that after an initial good start ghe service got slower and slower. We had a 35 minute wait between the main course and deserrt and then had to wait another 20 minutes after ordering coffee. In the end I had to ask for the bill when coffee arrived as we were due to leave to catch a train. Overall the slow service ruined what would have been a pleasant lunch time experience.

We had a wonderful evening and enjoyed the vegan tasting menu with wine flights The carrot and orange cake with carrot was our favourite savoury dish alongside the desserts The wine flights were a fantastic accompaniment to each dish The service was good. I’m strange times the team at the art school made it feel safe and a positive experience

Food was excellent along with staff.

Lamb was amazing! Although they sat two tables right next to each other, even though the rest of the restaurant was empty. Would’ve been safer to just sit everyone as far apart as possible?

Enjoyed the PrixFixe 3 course on Friday afternoon with family .Food exceptional in presentation and flavour. T Staff very attentive and knowledgeable about the food . The Chef Askew Singapore prawn & spider crab salad with mango & Asian greens was delicious. As was the Hay-Roast rump of Cumbrian lamb with Middle Eastern spices . The desert of Lemon &lime deuce with meringue left me wanting more. Would recommend everyone to try this restaurant.

It was amazing as ever! This was our first venture out since lockdown was lifted and we wanted to make sure it was the Art School and it did not let us down. Apart from a few less tables and the staff wearing face guards it was business as normal. The food was fab as normal and drinks were good. After lunch we wandered down stairs for a few cocktails and bought a few goodies from the Emporium to take home. A thoroughly enjoyable lunch as ever.

A fantastic lunch, food was amazing and tasted as good as it looked; art on a plate. Michelin quality without a doubt.
