Always have an excellent meal at burgundy restaurant. We have many family meal and special occasions.
Sweet trolley is as amazing as ever.
Staff are so polite friendly and helpful.
The only issue I have with our last visit was the roast potatoes ( which are always the best part of the meal!!)
We’re very very hard. That hard in fact we could hardly cut into them. / let alone eat them.
The vegetables were also not cooked properly.
Which was such a pity as we have never had a bad meal there.

We were seated quickly and the dining room was laid out very well and we were very comfortable. The service was excellent and had about the right amount of time between courses. We were not rushed and had a very enjoyable lunch. There was 8 in our party and even though we had a lovely first course and main which filled us up, we still had room for dessert and when the trolley was brought over we all indulged. Only one of our party was vegetarian and he enjoyed the menu offering. Everyone as far as I know enjoyed the food. The main course was already plated with meat dish and we were served at the table with vegetables and gravy so we could have as much or as little as we wanted. Couldn't fault anything. The staff were very welcoming and will definitely go again when we have another birthday to celebrate.

Another wonderful lunch at our favourite Sunday Lunch restaurant. David and all of his team as usual gave us a Super Roast Lunch with excellent food and really good service. Perfect surroundings for a good Get Together with friends or family and we now are at the Arden nearly every month for a Sunday Lunch, any excuse to go and such wonderful value..

    The minestrone soup was nice
    However Need more vegetarian options
    In the menu
Veg with the cottage pie was very hard and not veg I would eat!
would prefer cauliflower broccoli peas carrot options
The steak my partner had was asked to be medium well but ended up almost alive when it reached the table
The staff was most apoligetic and rectified it within ten minutes but by then
I had finished my meal before his came back
He was offered a free beer
    Overall lovely ??
If those bits was tweeked it would be perfect
    Great service
    Ambience
We are coming back same time next year and do hope to eat in this restaurant again ??

Staff pleasant and efficient. Limited choices for those who are gluten free. Gluten-free bread rolls excellent. Cod & Pork very good. Cost, compared with where we live in a tourist area, higher than we would have expected. Pianist on Saturday a problem for those with hearing aids and also for those with a good ear for music. Table set beautifully with good quality tablecloths.
I find it difficult to give stars: the food was good, but I was disappointed by the lack of choice for GF, the ambiance was good for this type of hotel, but we prefer smaller more intimate places and the pianist on the Saturday certainly detracted. The location of the hotel is one of the best for anyone wanting to go to the NEC, much better than any on the main site

My main course was an 8oz Ribeye and was delicious, but then at £24 it should have been but the 4 profiteroles at £5.50 had to be sent back as they were stale and inedible. Not a good experience.
