Steeped in history, The Aperfield Inn Biggin Hill lies between the cobbled streets of Westerham, and showcases a typically British menu packed with time-honoured pub dishes and old favourites. Blue tartan and light oak fixtures dominate the design scheme within The Aperfield Inn pub, together with crackling open fires and a roped-off patio area for al fresco dining.
Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Aperfield Inn menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Aperfield Inn ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.
Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.
Chartwell – the former home of Sir Winston Churchill – is just an 11-minute drive from The Aperfield Inn in Westerham, whilst the pretty, old-world high street is just an 8-minute drive away.

I have dined at the Aperfield Inn many times and this is the first time I have the need to complain. Apart from the soup the main meal and coffee were only luke warm. It was the first time I have dined on a Sunday and because it was very busy maybe explains for the critesrism . But this has not put me off visiting you again. Service was good.

Sadly, not a good experience. We haven't been to the Aperfield for about four months and then it was good, but walking in to an almost empty pub/restaurant made me wonder why . We usually go to the Harrow at Warlingham which is always busy and excellent in all respects. We ordered 4 drinks and one was not what was ordered, but it was only the flavour of j2o , so I didn't mind the one she brought so kept it. The Aperfield food was not good. There were 4 of us ,and 2 ordered the same beef rib pie. The chef got the vegetables mixed up , the pie should have been shortcrust pastry but he admitted at the end of the meal he had run out and used puff which one of us didn't like (that was why she had ordered that pie)The pastry was soggy too. The beef rib was stringy and chewy. Also, the chips were supposed to be normal chips but the thin ones were mixed in with them. One of us ordered the Hunters chicken and that was dry. One had salad that was ok. The raspberry creme brûlée was not good it did not taste fresh, and two portions were served to our table just on one board. The waitress service was ok. After we had eaten our meal she asked us if we had enjoyed it and we told her what was wrong. She apologised and gave us a reduction on the bill, by taking two meals off the total. It was a very disappointing evening as we were expecting it to be as good as it was four months ago, maybe the chef has left !!
