Steeped in history, The Aperfield Inn Biggin Hill lies between the cobbled streets of Westerham, and showcases a typically British menu packed with time-honoured pub dishes and old favourites. Blue tartan and light oak fixtures dominate the design scheme within The Aperfield Inn pub, together with crackling open fires and a roped-off patio area for al fresco dining.
Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Aperfield Inn menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Aperfield Inn ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.
Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.
Chartwell – the former home of Sir Winston Churchill – is just an 11-minute drive from The Aperfield Inn in Westerham, whilst the pretty, old-world high street is just an 8-minute drive away.

Always love going here. Enjoy the food and service is good. They are very laid back here I think though so if you're in a hurry perhaps not the place for you!

Very nice evening. Food excellent and service too. Sometimes this restaurant can be hit and miss but last night was very good.Atmosphere could do with some light background music. Will visit again soon .

Best feature at the Aperfield as was excellent customer service. Found the food mediocre. I had a house speciality burger costing £14.50 which was pretty tough and if anything dry and overcooked. The other 3 meals ok'ish. The ambiance was very good, choice of real ales good.

Very good and very attentive service. However I didn't think that the meal showed good value. My sister and I both had butternut squash quiche and salad. The quiche of itself was creamy and tasty, the small salad was full of red onions (not everyone likes raw onion in salad!) and was composed mainly lettuce. For me a small quiche and small salad does not represent good value at £8.50. Your food/ingredient cost would be no more than say £1.50 so it seems like a very high mark up and I was still hungry afterwards. I was disappointed compared to previous meals. Fundamentally I always think that a meal needs to reflect good value.

after being seated by a disinterested man, who took our menu's away before giving them to us, we were served by a lovely young lady. She asked us questions and gave us examples and was very swift and polite in taking our order. We all ordered the pie, which was scrummy! We also ordered a side of cauliflower cheese. This was a little disappointing as it wasn't really in a sauce, and not very cheesy! The restaurant itself was nice and welcoming. It was just a shame about the first man and the lack of cheese
