A food and drink utopia, The Anthologist Restaurant in London houses a contemporary British kitchen and delicatessen, a stunning drinks bar, 2 cocktail lounges and a luxurious wine store. All ingredients are sourced from the finest local producers at Borough Market.
A kaleidoscopic menu at The Anthologist Gresham Street ranges from British classic beer-battered fish and chips, to prawn lollipops and a wagyu burger with blue cheese. Succulent steaks are served with chips, watercress and a choice of sauce, while a breakfast and brunch menu offers a variety of options from around the world.
The Anthologist cocktail bar serves innovative and expertly-mixed cocktails. For those inspired by what they see, there are mixology lessons, as well as butchery and flambé classes. On Thursday and Friday nights, The Anthologist opens the doors to its exclusive roaring 20s-inspired London basement bar, 'The Blind Pig'.

Food was fresh and reasonably priced given the location. Service was ok but inattentive so we had prolonged waits and waving at waiters for every stage of breakfast: to order a drink, order food, ask for knife & fork, ask for fresh drinks then to ask for the bill. So a 45min breakfast took more like 1.5hrs. It feels like one of those places that thinks it will be busy anyway so the staff don't try too hard. When they did attend, they were efficient but not particularly interested or friendly.
