Lovely food, service was fast to start off with then very slow for the desserts!

Sunday prebooked table for 1pm . We were rushed to finish as we had gone over our alloted time and the next booking was waiting to be seated . Our friend who ordered the roast chicken had to send it back as it was not cooked properly. They were very helpful and very friendly staff .

Having been shown to our table at 12.35 on a Sunday, we had shockingly slow service. One of us had to get up from the table to find a server on 3 occasions; after our starter, we waited 40 minutes to be served our main course; and it then took almost as long for the waiter to clear our table and ask us about pudding. By that time, which was 2.55, we decided not wait for a pudding but to ask for our bill, which we did 3 times without success.

The pub was unaware of our booking even though I had received confirmation. However they were quick to accommodate us and our group.

Went for Sunday lunch. I love the pub and the location is fab. The food has always been of excellent quality, but unfortunately not this week. The expensive mezze starter came with just 1 pitta bread, the main took nearly an hour to arrive (with no apology from waiting staff), the roast beef was tough and the roast potatoes were undercooked.
