Restaurant description

Offering panoramic views of the River Thames, Thai Square – Putney Bridge sits within a magnificent award-winning building. Offsetting the ultra modern interior, the dining room is filled with antique Thai artefacts.

In picturesque Putney, the Thai Square menu offers a varied selection of Eastern delights, from creamy, subtle flavours to sizzling, spicy dishes. Sourcing superb ingredients for the creative dishes, favourites include succulent duck with lychee and coconut milk, or the fiery jungle curry, loaded with juicy prawns and fresh peppercorns.

As well as an international selection of wines at Thai Square restaurant, the aptly-named ‘exotic’ bottles offer fruity easy-drinking choices, direct from Thai vineyards. To balance the hearty savoury dishes at Thai Square London, the light, subtle dessert options, or a palate-cleansing jasmine tea, offer refreshing conclusions.

A fashionable and authentic eatery, Thai Square Putney Bridge evokes an exotic ambience. Putney Rail Station is only a 3-minute drive away.

Attentive and friendly staff and great and imaginatively presented cuisine. Lovely location overlooking the Thames at Putney Bridge. We have booked the restaurant for 'Special' birthdays and we have always had a memorable time.

My partner and I ordered the gold set menu. Every part of it was beautiful presented, full of flavour and delicious! We tried a few of their cocktails also, the lychee martini was my favourite. The starters particularly were amazing, lots of variety and very tasty. We dined for 2 and a half hours and never once felt rushed. The service couldnt have been any better. We had a lovely evening.

This was a first class meal of authentic Thai food vouched for by my very discerning Thai lady over here on a visit. She was delighted with the som tam and dim sum and East meets West lamb in particular.. The service was friendly and attentive and the view over the Thames delightful. An excellent lunch and great value too.

I had booked valentines evening as a suprise for my wife. So the initial view of the restaurant was a wow factor, It's location right alongside putney on the riverbank, also very modern stylish design of the building, all open plan. They had made great efforts to decorate for valentine's with hundred's of pink balloons, pretty chair covers with bows and rose petals on the tables. It was a set menu with mixed sharing platter to start, a choice of two mains and a vegetarian option. I had sirloin green curry, very tasty . My wife had the lamb shank curry panang which was excellent. The staff were very polite and efficient. All in all a very pleasant evening. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning with friends 9 out of 10 in my opion.

Booked an evening meal with a river view table. Have not dine here before so we decided to have the set seafood menu. The food was delicious and not too pungent as we thought it would be. We did not wait long to be serve. Good timing and excellent service. We will definately go back again and recommend to our friends.

Dined at 7 to get the benefit of the sunset. I requested a table with a view of the river, which I was given. The food and drink were excellent and the reataurant had good ambiance.

We could only book at 9.30pm yet there appeared to be very few tables taken for earlier times. Good set menus No coffee was offered at the end and we were ushered out at 11.15 due to them closing.

Early evening booking. Food was excellent and portion sizes were good. Beautiful surroundings and tables overlooking the Thames are lovely. Service could be improved on a little, but no real complaints. Would go again.
