DON'T GO THERE!!! We waited 30 minutes for drinks and over 2 hours from when we first sat down for main courses. When the main course finally arrived (in dribs and drabs), there was no cutlery, dirty plates and the waitresses couldn't identify which dishes were which. In an attempt to complain, we asked for the manager FOUR times but he seemed more interested in finishing an order of cocktails for another table before he came over about 20 minutes later. The attitude of the staff was TRULY TERRIBLE. When asked if the food would be much longer, the waitress replied, "yes actually, it will be longer, we are busy". When challenged by us that this was not acceptable and that other diners who were seated after us had already eaten, she replied, "ok. I will tell them to start cooking it now". Initially the manager was helpful, suggesting he get the main courses sorted and that he would sort out the bill at the end. After much negotiation, the manager agreed to take the desserts of the bill and discount it by 15%. We did not think this was enough of a gesture given the disgusting service but reluctantly accepted. However, when the bill finally came, the desserts had not been taken off. The manager cheekily pointed out that we did not have to pay the service charge (good really, considering that it is OPTIONAL) and that we had not brought the problem to his attention soon enough! He then said that he had not agreed to take the desserts off, accused my friend of being naive, and saying that we should just leave, and that he would pay the bill. He also said that we had only been there 2 hours - so no wonder he is incompetent at running a restaurant as he can't tell the time! After THREE AND A HALF HOURS we paid the bill minus desserts and 15%, with the manager muttering all the while that we should be grateful, that all he was trying to do was help, that he didn't understand why we were being like this etc... He even abused another customer who tried to help us. By the way, the food was distinctly average.

Dined at 7.00 pm. Quiet on arrival, gradually got busier. Typically polite and welcoming Thai waitresses. Two chillies is quite hot! Delicious huge prawns in yellow sauce

We dined early Sunday evening to celebrate our son's 18th birthday. The group included our parents so 3 generations. The food was really excellent and everyone enjoyed their meal. The atmosphere was relaxed though the restaurant was busy. The bill was ~£30/ head for 3 courses though that did not include very much alcohol.
