I haven’t been for quite a while and as always the service was very good but I did miss some of my favourite dishes There used to be
Dish with tiny lamb chops and a delicious chicory and walnut salad and gnocchi so I do not think the changes in the menus were good. I will always come gain though as it is just what’s needed before the show and Zhou replied good about gaetting us there on time.

Overpriced and the food absolutely did not live up to the price tag
    Poor service

The booking experience and the service was fine but the food was extremely disappointing. We've been dining at The Terrace satisfactorily for many years but last Thursday the food was dull, unappetising and resistible in the extreme. The Anchovy and Mozzarella Crispeddi was almost unpleasant to eat - certainly a chewy and tasteless challenge. The Polenta (tempeh ragu/cashew sauce) was 'dull, stodgy and tepid' and the Duck Fagottini was 'nondescript and tepid' although the Smoked Gizzards were 'interesting'. The Ratatouille was very dull and the whole, uncooked tomatoes did nothing for the dish.

This used to be favourite place to dine before National plays, last two times it was disappointing but delighted to say that 8 of us ate there on 25th and it was all delicious - so pleased to see it back on form.
