    The venue is lovely.
    The food was very poor.
    Service really good.
It was a hot night and the air conditioning wasn’t working.
Constant overload announcements concerning the theatre.

The Terrace is a good venue, particularly if you are actually out on the terrace and the weather is fine. The food is good but not great and could be improved - the shrimp dish was very bland with small frozen shrimps used. Some of the dishes are very good however and they need to up rheir game with some of the lesser dishes. It is a 7 out of 10

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Had a wonderful view as we were at the window. The food was great and loved the atmosphere

Great location by the river. I asked to be seated on the terrace and it was lovely to sit out and eat. We were not rushed and they knew that we were there to watch the show.
Meal was lovely and the recommended 3 dishes is more then enough. I was there with a friend so we chose six different dishes which we shared. Particularly good as we are both vegetarians and the was plenty to choose from. As some places it’s only two in the main course.
This was a tapas style dining. Each dish had good flavour and seemed to be fresh.
Particularly loved the courgette fritti and the olive tapenade. A little disappointed with the aubergine gratin just lacked herbs or garlic.

On the whole a lovely eating experience with great atmosphere of London from the terrace. Attentive staff and relaxed.

Expensive for what it was and food below average. View was nice. Serving stops at 7.30

The new menu has fewer dishes but all the dishes that our party of 7 had were delicious. We still love the zucchini fritti.
Friendly service and they check what show you are seeing to ensure you get out in time.

Located at upper ground level so with great views of the South Bank from the terrace. Within the National Theatre so busier before shows start; we continued to enjoy our meal prior to theatre goers returning at interval time. Some great 'tapas style' fishes including zucchini fritti and a lovely beef dish.

Excellent for a before Theatre dinner as not too filling and the staff always ask what you are going to see so the food comes with plenty of time so not to feel rushed
