I found the warm food selection on the menu very limited. Being a 'restaurant' I thought there would be more choice. It might have been a better option eating at the cafe'. Service however was very prompt, efficient and polite.

The food was terrible and expensive with indifferent service. We had a chewy cold quiche with a tasteless cous cous salad. The salad was full of watermelon seeds and old soggy watermelon. It is one of the worst meals I have eaten. The restaurant itself looks very nice but the food is dreadful and expensive. I have seen food presented better in a school canteen. No thought or care was taken in the preparation or presentation of the food. I would actively encourage people not to go to this restaurant but visit the pizza express across the road. I wish I had done that.

Very limited menu. The chicken and rice main meal was warm - not hot and not very nice. The only starter was soup! We won't be eating there again!

The venue is delightful, quiet, light and comfortable. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was the very worse my friends and I have ever, ever experienced. so bad that you had to laugh,

A convenient place to meet friends from the UK and USA. A good lunch in pleasant surroundings served by a pleasant and efficient waitress. A request for sharp knives to cut the food could not be met..

I reserved a table at the British Library restaurant as a birthday treat for a friend. It was FAR FROM A TREAT! Briefly 1) On arrival, we were "waved" to a table instead of being asked to pick put our sandwiches: 2) The coffee we ordered arrived lukewarm 3) The sandwiches we finally ordered from a waitress did not arrive for 30 minutes until I went to enquire; 4) When they did arrive, the "open" sandwiches were split bagels with a little shredded salmon overwhelmed with rocket 5) I was told that the problem was with one of the two computers being erratic. To me the £20 I spent was in the region of "daylight robbery"

We had a lovely afternoon tea in the delightful surroundings of the terrace restaurant. There was plenty to eat, a lovely pot of tea and a glass of prosecco.
The service was friendly and efficient.
