Booked on recommendation for son's birthday. Quite difficult to find. Staff v friendly on phone when we called to apologise for lateness, and also welcoming on arrival. However, table service a bit muddled and food took ages to arrive, yet not complicated order with 4/6 diners having steak. Bit sinewy. Had pre-ordered b'day cake so could not understand why this took ages to come...but was delicious! Did feel it was overpriced but probably that was influenced by fact we did not 'make an evening of it' and we were in and out as quickly as we could. Only two other couples there ( when we arrived at 9.45pm) so rather lacking in atmosphere too. Would not go back!

We went on a Saturday night, having booked fairly far ahead. It was busy, but not packed out - pretty much the right balance (ie. you know it's good cos there are people there, but it's not overly loud/cramped or anything). Food wise, we knew we were onto a good thing; we were flanked by Italians! So it felt like a proper little Italian trattoria, although a well-to-do one. We ate pasta dishes as our mains, and they were both delicious and a decent size. I was too full for desert, but the ice cream looked lovely. You could spend a lot more here than we did - on what looks like pretty impressive food - but I think you'd just about be getting value for money. One of the things we most enjoyed was the service - the staff were attentive without being overbearing and helpful without being patronising; a great balance to strike. Would def. recommend this place to a friend! (It looked also like they had a dedicated gluten-free menu, check for certain, but a big plus point for some)

A wonderful lunch meal with my family as a treat for my dad's birthday. It all started well, with a welcoming front of house staff followed by superb food and wine. The "Pasta Fresca" menu is incredibly tempting: the "Trofie Pasta with Basil Pesto Sauce from Prá, Black Tiger Prawns, Fine Beans and Potatoes" were "to die for", my dad reported, and the "Three Colour Potatoes Gnocchi with White Ragout Sauce, Fresh Peas and Truffle" were incredibly light with a very good hint of truffle. My boyfriend ordered the "Chicken Saltimbocca" from the set Lunch menu and said it was delicious (especially the sauteed spinach the dish comes with, which my partner is not a great fan of in general). We complemented our meal with some Primitivo di Puglia - a full body red wine form Southern Italy. Desserts were absolutely gorgeous - we tried the "Raspberry Parfait", the "Tiramisu flambe" and the "Affogato al Caffe" and we were all left wanting more! Tentazioni is also in a great location - a very short walk through hidden passages will take you straight onto Shad Thames with its Design Museum and amazing views to the Tower Bridge. Will definitely visit again.

Food was delicious the wine to accompany each course was equally well chosen by the staff and enjoyed. The only down side was a slightly quiet restaurant, even though the dinner room was half full. In addition, the staff were a little overly attentive for our liking (pouring water refills) although incredibly friendly and professional. We plan to return and try the a la carte menu as the dishes we saw looked and smelled incredible!

Our dinner at Tentazioni was everything I had hoped it to be for a catch-up with dear friends. We dined as part of the London Restaurant Festival and had a good selection from the set menu to choose from - the fois gras ravioli was a particular highlight. Service was excellent and the only thig that would make the experience better would be if it was closer to my house!

visited as part of london restaurant festival. £20 for 2 courses, £25 for 3. represented great value. menu has 3 starters, mains and deserts. despite this choice was good and it would be hard to imagine that anyone would not find something they really liked. food cooked simply with best ingrediants and served with style. restaurant wasn't that busy for a saturday night, with only 30 diners when we were in. not sure why as great food, service in nice atmosphere. the real test is if you would go back. the answer to that is a definit yes.

I love my food. Me and my girlfriend fancied something a bit new, out of central, sophisticated and great food. Were both students with a fresh loan and lucky enough to find Tentazioni during the food festival. We ordered a 3 course meal for an amazing price and the quality did not lack because of it, service and food both spectacular. I will definitely be coming back again regardless of the festival deal!
