Tempo Restaurant & Bar in Mayfair combines chic elegance with Mediterranean vibrancy. It serves superb, passionate Italian cuisine in 2 Regency townhouses, which offer a mixture of contemporary décor and traditional features.

The menu at Tempo Bar & Restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes. Bold, classic flavours are combined in the swordfish served with black olives, capers and lemon, as well as lamb shank with polenta and onions. A separate vegetarian menu is available, in addition to a range of delicate desserts such as dark chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream.

Tea, coffee, cocktails, and a fine selection of wines are available in the bar, which combines 19th-century Rococo walls with modern day additions such as free Wi-Fi. A separate private dining room is also available.

In the heart of London, Tempo Restaurant & Bar combines elegant décor with contemporary Italian cuisine, with Green Park and its Tube Station a 3-minute walk away.

We had lunch. The table was nicely situated, we appreciated especially the fact that there were two waiters who took responsibility rather than trying to beckon one dedicated waiter. Food quality was good although some of the dishes were possibly a little too adventurous resulting in a clash of flavours.

Good for quiet business lunches. Food is well prepared but a bit unimaginative. Fixed menu offers good value. Pleasant staff.

A relaxed and warm restaurant with excellent choice of Italian dishes and inspired combinations of flavours. The desserts are fabulous especially the delicious pastry dishes.

The food was excellent, but wished that the coffee and bill were served a little quicker.
