Went for a treat for part of a wkend for grandaughters birthday. Offered tea/drinks as soon as seated. Unfortunately these werr gone before we got served with food. & when u having afternoon tea u need a cup of tea with it. We were not asked at any point if we would like any more drinks of any kind or even if the food was ok. We were just left. That was a big downside that changed the experience as the surroundings was lovely, calm, very clean & pleasant staff.

We stood at the desk and waited to be seated.. no one came so we approached the waiting on staff. We were seated and ask for a drinks order which we placed. We recieved our drinks and was then told that several items of the already small menu were unavailable. This shouldve been made clear to us before we ordered a drink. We complained and said we were not happy and were not prepared to pay for our drink as we shouldve been notified first that the menu was greatly reduced.

We had the £21.95 supper 3 course meal with cocktails. The staff were very good, the food was excellent. However the restaurant was empty and lacked atomosphere. It would benefir from dimmer lights and some subtle changes from an afternoon tea experience to be successful in the evening.

Absolutely fantastic, the staff were lovely....very welcoming and friendly. The asparagus starter was amazing, vanilla chicken with sweet potatoes could have been put on the menu for me and even though I didn't have room I forcedon't the sticky toffee pudding down because it was so good! We'll definitely be back!

The food was brilliant, we had the 3 courses with a cocktail included and couldn't fault any of it. The only thing we thought which could help improve the number of customers would be the lighting being dimmer and music being less 'night club' feel.

Lovely looking restaurant. Very modern and clean. Cocktails are lovely. However, I would not return. We were booked in for afternoon tea. It was terrible. White bread was dry. Looked and tasted like it was an end piece that the crust had been trimmed off. Egg mayo tasted sour. Ham was cheap. Scone was dry and overcooked. Trifle was warm and runny. Cake and pastry was like rubber. Brownie was bland and weird texture. My friend brought home the little cakes but binned them after one bite. Terrible was an understatement.
