Serving up hearty comfort food in a bustling communal setting, Tandoor Chop House blends the best of British and north Indian dining. Watch chefs in the open kitchen craft delicacies using traditional charcoal-fired tandoor ovens.
Sourcing meats from trusted farmers, baking bread in house each day and crafting sauces from scratch, the Tandoor Chop House menu is a masterclass in authentic Indian-style cooking. Prime meat cuts marinated overnight are cooked in the tandoors and served fresh from the oven, including Amritsari crispy lamb chops, black pepper chicken tikka, and green masala pollock. British-style twists include pale ale-battered squid & prawns, and naan bread with bone marrow.
For dessert at Tandoor Chop House in Covent Garden, experimental flourishes include chai-infused brulee, or coal-roasted pineapple with honey ice cream. Signature gin & tonics head the Chop House drinks list, with locally brewed beers, international wines and spirits also served.
Featuring chic, stripped-back décor offset by a stunning mosaic-tiled floor, find the Tandoor Chop House in London a 3-mintue walk from Charing Cross Tube Station.

Excellent food and service in a lovely space - really liked the booths for two people. The food really was of such high quality that the IPA beer battered prawn and squid didn't quite come up to scratch but everything else was truly top notch. Good choice of beer though it might have been nice to have a draft beer instead of cans and bottles. The only thing that seemed out of place were the novelty Marshall stack speakers which kind of cheapened the classiness of the whole experience somewhat.

We were a group of three and we ordered a selection of starters and shared an Andy Murray curry. The food was delicious and we also enjoyed the cocktails followed by wine. The restaurant has a good vibe and the staff are very friendly. Good value for money and we would definitely go there again.

I can't recommend this restaurant enough. We'd been given the recommendation to dine here and it fully lived up to our expectations. The menu is small, but all the dishes we had were superb, the chicken tikka and lamb chops were a huge hit with the whole party. The waiting staff were fantastic, the right amount of attentive and friendly. It's also great that it is a trendy restaurant in London that will actually let you book a table, makes the whole experience even better not having to wait in the rain for an hour before eating.

The overall experience was really good. The mains from the tabdoor were particularly good. We had the pepper chicken and the lamb chops. The side dish black Dahl, and the marinated cauliflower added some crunch to the meal.
The starters were good... but not great. In particular the onion barghi rings.

Very nice alternative take on Indian food, was worried when there were no rice side dishes but great corn-on-the-cob dish to go alongside my tandoori chicken. Would eat here again.

This was our first visit to Tandoor Chophouse on a Friday evening. Very friendly, attentive and professional staff from arrival onwards. Some of the best service we have received in a London restaurant in a while! Food was excellent. The crispy lamb chops where wonderful- but a little too spicy for me. Husband absolutely loved them! Masala boti rubbed ribeye was gorgeous and tender- would definitely come back for that. I had read that the Malted kulfi was a must- and we where not disappointed. It was delicious! The vibe on a Friday eve was buzzing and I liked the choice of music. Only thing that I would say- the venue is pretty small and the booth we where in was almost too small to fit us in comfortably for leg room. We will definitely be going back soon though!
