Customer reviews for Tamasha

Quiet for a Thursday evening with plenty of staff just hanging around. The food was the usual good standard and the Tamasha coffee is always a favourite and out Dutch friends loved it. The only downside this time was the rowdy group of young men behind us using foul language and discussing topics that are definitely not suitable for a public place let alone a restaurant - not the restaurant's fault though.

Miserable staff - and they kept leaning across in front of my mum to serve food without even saying 'excuse me', with the waiter's jacket nearly going into my mum's food because of this. My daughter was facing the window and had the sun in her eyes. However, when we asked another waiter if he could close the slats, he muttered 'won't work' and was completely disinterested and sullen. The place was almost empty so he could have politely offered us another table. We didn't feel welcome from the minute we stepped in the door and for the price we paid, I would have expected friendly, helpful staff - which was definitely not the case. The food was good but for the price, the dishes were small. We won't be going back here and declined to pay the service charge which had been added to the bill.

Pleasant evening for my husbands birthday it was his 50th they wished him happy birthday as we arrived . Would have liked a sparkling candle as they did for someone else for their birthday seeing as it is an expensive evening.
