Lovely place. The cats are very well cared for, loved, and obviously happy in their environment. The whole place is designed for their comfort and well being. The owners ensure that there are never too many people in at once. If they are up and about there are plenty of toys so you can play with them.
There are also lovely cakes and drinks available.

Everything about our visit was great. Lovely cafe, friendly, attentive and informative staff, fantastic cakes and gorgeous cats - what more could you want?

Charming, relaxed, staff very pleasant and enthusiastic. Lots of toys but not as many cats as we had expected. They had about a dozen but as some were asleep or not sociable and there were about 20 people there, the cat: people ratio was disappointing.
Pleased to see vegan cake selection.

Really relaxed environment with nice bites to eat, coffee and tea. The cats are the true highlight and each have an interesting personality. The staff know the resident kitties well, and share little things about each cat, making it feel even more friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.

Fabulous tea rooms with the added bonus of 12 gorgeous cats to fuss. Excellent place to enjoy a coffee & an amazing cake whilst surrounded by furry friends to fuss. Love it ????

This was my first time at a cat café and the experience took a little getting used to, however, once you relax into it Tabby Teas is a really lovely, chilled-out sort of place. The staff are very friendly and so are some of the cats. A useful thing to remember if you're consider going: the cats are not there for your entertainment; you're going to have tea and cake amongst cats, they might come to you they might, they might play they might not.

I had been giving the cafe likes on Face Book for some time and decided to visit, which was on my own. I travelled there by bus to Sheffield and walked down the Moor to the restaurant with a friend, doing some shopping en route. The bus station info told me there was bus per hour to this part of town, but I didn't need the bus. Am not sure how easy parking would be in this part of town. I was given a friendly welcome on arrival and the rules and dislaimer were explained. Service was quick and attentive.,The cafe itself was clean, quiet and tidy, and had 10 cats which were mostly asleep, Olaf was awake, and I was able to stroke him, he is a well known character on Face Book, I was told the best time of day to visit is the morning, when they would be awake, I had Ameriano coffee and chocolate cake, both were delicious, although the cake probably wasn't home made. Am not sure if they do savoury food (or alcoholic drinks), but I would be wary about having say baked potato as the cats could try to steal this (this happened to me at Nottingham's "cat cafe" although it was kittens who were the problem). I arrived at 3 pm and stayed half an hour and on leaving was told I could stay until 4.30 if I wanted, but I hadn't realised this and wanted to get home before it got dark, so I left. I understand that it is not a cheap place because it helps to fund local cat rescue centres, so I did not mind paying more. Had been warned the cats might try to eat my food but this did not happen and they were no trouble at all. Kids of 10 years and above are allowed, and the kids there were all with parents and well behaved. It was an enjoyable experience and I hope to return in a few months again.
