Pairing authentic French cuisine with a destination wine, champagne and cocktail bar and an in-house bakery, Le Restaurant de PAUL brings a contemporary burst of colour and energy to Old Broad Street.

Open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and drinks, the Restaurant de PAUL menu showcases produce from artisan French cheesemakers, and sources meats from the Queen’s butcher, Donald Russell. Along with gourmet plats du jour, indulge in eggs-any-way, freshly-whizzed smoothies and classics like smoked haddock with pesto, or entrecote steak.

The dedicated bar at Le Restaurant de PAUL near Liverpool Street offers a carefully chosen list of regional French red, white and rosé wines along with a selection of premium champagnes. Cocktails include the signature L’Avion Blue, the Negroni Lavande and the Martini Café.

Relax in armchairs and 1950’s-style benches, surrounded by mirrored panels, muted lighting, and splashes of emerald, aquamarine and ruby. Find Le Restaurant de Paul in London equidistant between Liverpool Street and Bank stations.

Had a pleasant lunch at Paul Tower 42. The restaurant itself is stylish and has a nice atmosphere. The food is simple brasserie style, we did think however that the portion sizes were quite small. Had shepherds pie and some braised cabbage - tasty but small. Puddings were also good.

Very nice food (set Xmas menu) except for the confusion over the pre-booked gluten free option (none of the staff seemed to know that it was booked or whether the dinner being served was indeed gluten free). Also the staff were not particularly attentive and we had to ask several times to get our drinks ordered, to have water on the table and to get the bill.

Very good service, good choice for a business lunch but will return and sample evening atmosphere. Food was served promptly and good presentation.

Used mainly for business meetings. Excellent and friendly service - consistently! Good and varied selection of food and drinks to suit most people, including vegetarians. Very good value, overall. Definitely highly recommended.
PS: For beer drinkers : do try their Curious Brew beers - very refreshing!

The restaurant has great design and the food we ate was very nice. I had the prix fixe menu and I really enjoyed it. The parmentier soup was delicious and the steak was tasty and surprisingly tender. The service was good. The only downside was that the temperature was too cold. They need some curtains in front of the entrance or double doors and more heaters.
