Set in charming Audley Redwood village, Symonds at Redwood offers a modern British menu with a traditional twist in a relaxed and stylish contemporary atmosphere decorated with paintings and chandeliers. The restaurant is a short drive from Clifton, Bristol.
The carefully planned and presented Symonds at Redwood menu features starters like horseradish cured Chew Valley salmon with gin infused cucumber or game terrine with apple and cider brandy chutney. For mains try slow braised belly of pork with fondant potato or sirloin steak with triple cooked chips. All day dining and breakfast menus are also available.
Round off with a tempting dessert like orange cured tart with cinnamon Chantilly cream or almond sponge cake with dark cherries and thyme mousse at Symonds at Redwood. Their traditional afternoon tea menu offers fruit scones with Tiptree preserve and clotted cream, sandwiches with delicious fillings, cakes and a selection of teas or coffees.
Located within Redwood Hall, Symonds at Redwood is a 16-minute drive from Bristol Temple Meads Rail Station via the A370.
Their dress code does not allow sportswear, tracksuits, ripped jeans, shorts, sandals or flip flops. Guests are encouraged to park in the visitors car park, which is located left and left again as you drive into the village. Then you need to walk towards Redwood Hall in the centre of the village. Symonds restaurant is located within Redwood Hall. Guests are allowed to drop off other guests at the front door and then park their cars in the visitors car park. Disabled spaces are available directly opposite Redwood Hall.

Lovely restaurant, wonderful food.

Excellent food and service. The decor is lovely, just needs more atmosphere and more people. Music is a bit depressing.
