Restaurant description
One the most famous gentleman’s clubs in the world, the alluring and glamorous Stringfellows in Covent Garden also boasts a highly acclaimed restaurant which showcases contemporary twists on classic European cuisine. In the decadent and sensual setting, guests can dine in chic velvet seating with a prime view of the cabaret acts performing on a stage set amongst red drapery and luxurious chandeliers.
Diners can enjoy Stringfellows' speciality ‘Papillon’ steak, originally prepared in the 1980s for Princess Diana. Other favourites on the menu include sharing platters, fish and seafood, as well as canapés.
Alongside the Stringfellows menu, sip on fine wines and vintage champagnes while watching the show. The iconic go-to nightspot offers guests late-night dining in the intimate restaurant, while also continuing to provide a sophisticated and romantic setting, vibrant with live entertainment, since its opening by the revered late Peter Stringfellow in 1980.
When dining in the restaurant, the usual admission fee to Stringfellows club is waived. Covent Garden Tube Station is just a 2-minute walk away.

The food was nice and the service initially was welcoming. We had an enjoyable evening although did feel a little uncomfortable at times with staff gathered in groups very obviously discussing us! We got a fair few scowls from the girls and as a result did not leave a tip.
