Slow service. Spilt my drink on me and all over the table. Charged us for the refill drink. They forgot half of our order and possibly gave it to another table by accident. Food was nice though

Food was amazing. Staff were so friendly & helpful. Talked us through the menu & made us feel very welcome. Lovely atmosphere even on a Thursday evening. Couldn't fault it. Also cocktails were delicious!

Fantastic sushi, OK cocktails, poor service (poor attention to detail, couldn't find staff when needed them, generally understaffed). Given the prices, I was expecting a better overall experience.

Great food and service. The only downside was when we requested to remove service charge ad received not very friendly look from the manager on duty(I know exactly how it works in your company and prefer to leave gratuity to a server, not tronk)

Good atmosphere. Good quality of food. Good pace of food delivery. Friendly staff. Liked the fact that coats could be handed over on being shown to ones table and delivered back at the end of the meal. Our waiter was I little irritating (trying a little too hard to be hip and sociable). I also felt he was trying to steer us towards more expensive options (food and wine). Wine was good (if a tad pricy for what was on offer). Interesting fusion of cuisines, some worked better than others (the scallops were exceptionally good).

The portion sizes were larger than expected, so the set meal experiences are for large appetites. A bit on the pricy side (£70 per head, Gala set meal experience, dessert and bottle of wine, and could easily been a lot more).

Having now experienced the ‘fusion’, I’d pick individual dishes (rather than the set meal experiences).

The curtains worked well in that it separated what would be a rather large (canteen like) space into what felt more cosy, whilst maintaining the buzzing atmosphere.
