    superbe soirée. Personnel de salle très professionnel. Discrétion, Présence et gentillesse.

    Dans l'assiette on est aux anges, superbes présentation d'assiettes, produits de grandes qualités, de beaux mariages de saveurs.

    Menu incognito suivant l'humeur du chef, mention spéciale sur l'asperge aux morilles et Saint-Jacques et pour le menu autour du homard, la risque est à tomber.

    Bel endroit, épuré, chaud. Un americano maison parfait. Menu autour du homard excellent, beaucoup de saveurs, cuisson impeccable, le choix des vins "mystère " belle idée, belle découverte, le dessert Framboise, Litchi, accord parfait, avec le chocolat, un vin rouge aurait plus plu que le lumbrosco,. Service parfait, fluide, Sommeluer très intéressant. C'était l'anniversaire de mon conjoint et une jolie attention en pâte d'amande lui a été offerte. Merci. Nous avons passé une belle soirée,

    Nous avions choisi le menu "papilles en découverte" avec les vins associés, en 7 services, 3 entrées, poisson, viande, pré-dessert et dessert.
    Tout à été parfait, de la reservation, en passant par l'accueil, étant de mobilité réduite une place de parking m'avait ete réservée devant la porte du restaurant, les très bons choix du sommelier, le tour en salle du Chef et meme la petite photo avec lui à la fin...
    Tous les plats étaient une merveille, florilège de goûts et de saveurs, en particulier, le foie gras de canard mi-cuit enrobé de graines de wasabi, pulpe de grillotte, légumes croquants, oignons confits au vinaigre de Xérès, pain à l'encre de sèche toasté, le carpaccio de saumon de Cherbourg en gravalax et le ris de veau cuit en sautoir.

    Dans un cadre moderne et calme, nous avons mangé une cuisine classique et gouteuse. Le personnel est professionnel. Les plats sont raffinés, l'assiette de fromage est copieuse. Il est possible d'être installé en terrasse. Nous avons apprécié le passage du Chef et la madeleine à la sortie.

    I tried this restaurant 2x during my most recent stay in Caen and I have the highest recommendation to offer. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, the food was terrific and it was entertaining to watch the kitchen at work-a thing of beauty.
    I had the Terre et Mer menu and the "chefs surprise" menu and both were great though the former was a particularly good deal and memorable in many ways. Among the features that stand out: the server asked me if I had any allergies or foods I did not want to eat. When I explained I did not like aubergines, they modified the opening course. Then, for each of the wines I drank by the glass, they allowed me to taste and compare one to another. Very thoughtful! The sommelier was also helpful at discussing the various scents and flavours in the wine. On to the food: first the Terre et Mer. After an amuse bouche came the dish personally modified by the chef. Aubergine was substituted by black rice. I have to say this was one of the finest fish dishes I have ever eaten-this variant should definitely appear on the menu!! The "terre" consisted of veal and a millefeuille of potato and carrot. The sauce on the veal was sensational. The server asked me if I would like a little more-what a treat. I could see her consulting with the chef who proceeded to dip into her stash and provide me with just enough more to finish the meat. Very considerate and most importantly-delicious. The final course was a biscuit topped with framboise, cream, some fresh fruit and marshmallow "knots'. What a great meal and at the very reasonable price of 42 Euro. The second meal was the "surprise" and that was also wonderful, though the terre et mer was actually better-in my view. A lovely piece of fish in a "pois-sesame" sauce, followed by sweetbreads and a polenta square were both excellent. The final course was a small biscuit topped with fresh fruit and some sorbet. A great restaurant definitely worth another visit. Worth 1*+.
