We enjoyed our second visit to Stem as much as the first.
Good choice of food and well presented. Wine prices sensible. Staff cheerful and professional. Had a lovely table in the window area. We will be back.

Inside a beautiful Grade-II listed 18th-century townhouse just off Regent Street, Stem is a contemporary opening from the team behind the acclaimed Anglo and Neo Bistro restaurants. Experience bold flavours alongside a wine list featuring over 100 bins, with an intimate kitchen table tasting experience available for up to six guests.

The best of British is showcased throughout the Stem menu, with pioneering recipes filled with seasonal produce. Simple, wholesome starters include new season asparagus with duck egg and tarragon cream, moving on to spring vegetable risotto, and aged sirloin of beef with pickled cucumber, shiso and bone marrow.

Add to meals at Stem in Mayfair with sides like fermented radicchio and blood orange, before finishing up with irresistible puddings such as hazelnut cake with hay ice cream. Be sure to try something from the extensive wine list too, with vintages from all over Europe and beyond.

A smart, intimate restaurant in London, Stem is a great example of modern British dining, and sits just moments from Oxford Circus Tube Station.

We had the tasting menu with the paired drinks. We though both were exceptional. We went to Stem as we had previously dined at the sister restaurant Anglo which we loved. Stem did not let the side down at all. Great flavours, good service and only a short hop from Oxford Street/Regent Street

as a coeliac diner, they were above and beyond not only to give me options, but to reassure me how the food was gluten free (changed or as designed) alternatives were given, options from other menus brought in to replace items etc. The team was delightful as well!

Lovely little restaurant tucked away off Regent St with great food, friendly service and, for Central London, amazing value. Jay Raynier's review of Stem sums it up far better than I can so please have a read. I can't wait to go back just for the sourdough bread!

Three of us had lunch which was delicious. We have been to Stem once before and loved it and will definitely be going again. The food is imaginative and full of flavour.

Excellent restaurant, great food, great service and reasonably priced; have already booked to go back! Loved the white onion soup and the pear & tonka tart

There is no doubt that the food is delicious and beautifully presented, and there were a number of extras like palate cleansers and after dinner sweets. There were lots of unusual flavours to try and we particularly enjoyed the mocktails. The staff are exceptional and we were well looked after. However for me there was just not enough food. The portions are tiny and I came away feeling a little bit cheated on price. I had to have a snack when we got home and this was after 3 courses. If we went again we would choose the tasting menu which I have read is quite filling however we could not convince everyone at our table to have it which is a requirement.
