As a family, The Star is a firm favourite. It has also become a favourite with overseas family members. The food is second to none and in the 14 years that I have been visiting the restaurant I have never had a bad experience. We use this restaurant for many a family celebration. The staff and the owner Shah have always been friendly and helpful.

I used to come here both to eat in a nd takeaway many years ago and it was brilliant. I moved away from the area and a couple of years ago me, my wife and two relatives went to the restaurant as I told them it was so good. Unfortunately it was embarrassing. The service was very poor which is unusual for an Indian restaurant as usually they are always so good. The food was very average where before it was fantastic and the whole expierience put me off. very sad as I used to love going.

I usually go for an evening meal and no matter when I arrive I will be greeted enthusiastically and receive a great service. The food is always excellent quality. Their buffet evenings and Sunday buffet lunch are extremely good value.
