With a splendid selection of modern cuisine and wines sourced from southern Europe, St Alban is in a privileged position in the heart of London's theatre district. The building that this restaurant occupies was formerly the home of the BBC's Paris Studio, a famous live radio recording studio as seen on The Beatles' 'Live at the BBC' album. The menu takes you on a gastronomic tour through Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, serving you dishes prepared in a wood-fired oven and a real charcoal grill, capturing the delectable flavours of the food. The creative dishes include Sardinian Fish Stew, Deep-Fried Soft Shell Crab with Tarragon Mayonnaise and Chorizo and Padron Pepper Pizza Romana, with tempting desserts such as Cherry Soufflé and Bitter Chocolate Tart with Milk Ice Cream. Contemporary and stylish, the interior design features modernist Michael Craig-Martin's murals and a number of pieces from Damien Hirst.
