Great service, food was very tasty, beautiful decor, it was a bit quiet for a Wednesday evening but otherwise all good.

The food was very good, and the waiting service was great. However it was a very cold evening and we were sat next to the front door. Despite efforts to have the curtains around the door it was quite uncomfortable. The door manager was extremely obliging and put his fan heater under the table for us, which was a lovely gesture and did help, although we felt bad that he was then freezing standing at the door.
The upstairs bar was a great atmosphere, great bar service and great music.

This was one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten in. The soft shell crab, the wagging beef, the sea bass - it was all amazing. The desserts are to die for. The wine list is fantastic, great Pinot Noir. Highly recommended! Chris Denney does it again - this has all the delicious food and well thought out menu that 108 Garage delivered to West london. Planning my next visit already. A+++

I found the layout of seats downstairs a little off, we were by the window in an odd corner that felt a little in-special. Service good overall but spotty: was told quite brusquely that the table would have to be back by 9-which is normal, it’s just that when you’re paying a lot to eat out, there’s a way of saying it that doesn’t make you feel like the restaurant is doing you a favour. We should feel special. I had the duck which I was told was not tapas-sized, was a main, but it was small. I left hungry having paid a lot. My friend had the chicken which was a main and looked good. Wine had a huge mark up-tres cher! I’ve lived in the area for decades, I think if Southam St is to become a food destination it needs to up its game more with the food and ambience downstairs (perhaps something lovely blinds on the street windows?). Laylow has a beautifully ambient main room, gorgeous to be in though the food is really lacking. I really want Southam st to be good as alternative for locals to the Cow, PE and the Electric.

The food and service at Southam Street (Gril) is amazing. I’ve been here twice in less than a month and intend to go as many times as my budget will allow (it isn’t the cheapest)

The food is pretty good. Aside from that we experienced great service, terrible music, a few weirdly off-key notes (poor beer selection, massive Costa-style tea cups) and a disagreeable (to me) Ibiza club vibe. This may be exactly what they're aiming for, in which case congratulations, but it's not what I want.

Nice but pricey food. Service hit and miss, with the edamame beans arriving after the 3rd small plate.
