It was as fabulous as ever. Really enjoyed every course on the tasting menu. Steve tests you and gives you plenty to think about. The atmosphere was Serengetis and the staff excellent.

Another fantastic visit to Sorrel. From the moment you walk through the door you can feel the genuine warmth in terms of welcome and an authentic sense that Steve and the team are genuinely pleased to see you. Even in COVID times, the precautions being taken do not detract from the fantastic and attentive service provided. As always, the food is amazing, well paced and accompanied by great wines. Sorrel is one of my favourite restaurants including from across the many great options available in London - for me, it is up there with the very best and bar none. The key difference with Sorrel is that you can be assured of consistency, attentiveness and a genuine passion for both amazing food and phenomenal service every single time. It doesn't come down to the luck of who serves you, how often you visit, the time of day or where you are seated. The Discovery Menu is amazing and changes quite often so you can be assured of variety!

we really enjoyed our meal at Sorrel. We had the 9 course meal and enjoyed every course The atmosphere in the restaurant was high end but also not stuffy or too clinical (as experienced in some other Michelin star restaurants)

i cam from france especially to have lunch in sorrel with my mother (x-mas present). it was great experience, customer oriented, kind service, fantastic food. Favourite dish was the desert with meringue , i also liked the green green green, and the duck was fabulous just maybe something we think should be changed : we think that all the dishes were just a little bit too much salted.

Very happy with everything. If I was nitpicking I'd say perhaps the seats are a little bit low? We received a warm welcome and the comfortable surroundings made it so that we didn't feel awkward, as you sometimes can in a Michelin starred restaurant. We had the 9 course menu, but one of the tastiest things I had all night was the first mouthful - the pork/filo canape. But rather than it all being downhill from there it was just a taste of things to come. My wife's favourite dish was the duck, which I also enjoyed very much. She is a chef herself and every course seemed to trigger something in her in a different way. She also really enjoyed the Green x3 dish, even though all three main ingredients are not her favourite when had in a conventional way. But the combination of kiwi, caper and broccoli really wowed her. I have a really sweet tooth and so although I also loved the duck my favourite dish was the dessert, a crazy combination of flavours that really set the meal off perfectly. The IPA was very nice, too, while my wife enjoyed her gin - both were local as I understand it which was a nice touch also. The staff attending us were all helpful and there when we needed them. Overall, we enjoyed it very much and look certain to return for my wife's 40th in November - a decision she made before the starters had arrived, I think!

Amazing, just wonderful. It was a special occasion and this was the perfect place to celebrate. High end without being pretentious, we had the 5 course tasting menu and it was just amazing. The duck was sublime. We then asked to also have a dessert from the main menu so good to have them be flexible with such requests. Having been before we had high expectations and these were exceeded. Service as one would expect but not stuffy or too formal just right.

This was mine and my husbands first time in a mitchelin restaurant and we absolutely loved it from the beautiful building to the lovely lady that took our coats, the comfy seats, table decor, the wonderful lady who served us and with great detail explain complimentary tasters and the 5 course that followed. The food was absolutely out of this world and we haven’t stopped telling everybody that they should go.
