Big disappointment food was cold and though music was good no opportunity to dance any more. Its a shame it used to be such a fun place

First visit to Smollensky's and we cannot fault the service we had. Our server Victor was a star attentive but not overbearing and he kept the bottomless prosecco topped up (an absolute bargain). Food was ok - burger bun / brioche was to heavy though and had to be left but rest was lovely

Decent a la carte menu (+1), although starters were poor (rubbery calamari and dry crab cakes) (-1), decent wine list (+1) although cocktails had too much ice (long island iced tea was truly awful!) (-1). Very good live music (+1) and staff were helpful (+1). Overall rather mixed experience and as such not a repeat for us.

Fantastic! Haven't been to this smollensky's for donkeys. This long overdue trip was just so lovely. Love the decor, although bathroom sinks need sorting out. Food was absolutely exquisite!!!!!!! Cinnamon donuts - yum ??

We visited Smollensky's for a late lunch and booked our table on-line. We were warmly greeted on arrival and taken to our table and the staff we met were very welcoming and friendly.
The menu had a good variety of options and the food was of good quality and presentation, although the meals were not large.
Its a pity the place is slightly hidden away from pedestrians passing along the Strand....Its definitely worth eating there !!!!

Nice pre-theatre vibe, really good service, portions on the small side but not bad value for money, excellent burger!

    Great food & cocktails!

The service was poor. Waited a long time for our order to be taken and to pay the bill

Steaks weren't very good and weren't cooked to our requests

We had the 2 course meal and glass of prosecco for £21.95. Staff were very pleasant and food delicious and very prompt. Could not fault the food. Restaurant clean and music not too loud. Only criticism was that you only had 3 choices of meal which was a bit restrictive.
