A celebration of London’s only functioning meat market, Top Floor is found within the Grade II-listed ‘Smiths’ of Smithfield. On the roof of this 4-storey building, the Top Floor offers stunning London panoramas from the sweeping terrace, and from the open-plan dining room with its floor-to-ceiling windows.

Sourcing ingredients from trusted suppliers, the ‘Smiths’ Top Floor menu is headed by supreme rare-breed beef and the freshest line-caught fish. Butchered and cut in house, meats include the trusty rump, fillet and sirloin, along with buy-by-weight pieces designed for sharing. Refined main courses also include poached monkfish with pumpkin, or steak & kidney pudding with braised red cabbage.

The ‘Smiths’ dining room offers a distinct New York feel, with plush booths, vast light-flooding windows, and a pristine white palette. A library of wines at SMITHS in London includes both easy-drinking bottles, and some of the most sought-after vintages available.

Mixing edgy styling with ingredients from some of the UK’s most celebrated suppliers, find ‘Smiths’ of Smithfield just 4 minutes’ walk from Farringdon Station.

Very well priced meal deal - steak and glass of malbec for £25. Lovely views from the terrace. This is my third time dining at this restaurant and it never disappoints.

For more expensive than anticipated. Not shown the offer from booktable that lured us there.

The booking service worked very well, we were well looked after by attentive staff. The outlook from the restaurant across the rooftops to St. Pauls and the Shard was much appreciated.
However, my wife and I had the special offer of fillet steak and chips with a glass of Malbec and we were both disappointed by the quality of the fillet, which was not up to expectations. However, other members of our party had the sea bass and spoke highly of it, while another member of the party had lamb cutlets and thoroughly enjoyed it. The desserts, particularly the pineapple carpaccio, were definitely to be recommended.
The wine list was very expensive, the cheapest being about £35.00. Beers were also expensive, but as they were labelled as 'craft' beers, this would automatically increase the price.

Really lovely waiter. Helpful and efficient. We were lucky it was a nice evening so we got to sit out on the terrace which has a wonderful view across the city skyline. Steak was cooked really well and to how I had requested. Hope to come back and have breakfast on the ground floor one weekend.

Dined here with friends, had the steak & chips offer with glass of red, all very enjoyable, steaks were slightly overcooked if anything but still tasty.
