The brunch was really great - food delicious and the service spot-on. We had bottomless prosecco and our glasses were never empty! The restaurant is lovely and bright, and has fantastic views over the Thames.

We have been eating at Skylon for over a decade and the lunch we had the other day was one of the best. The set menu provided 3 courses of delight to both the palate and the eye. The Quinta Portuguese red went perfectly with both savoury courses and the view of the Thames was great. Thank you for making it such a pleasurable experience.

We had the set menu on a Saturday. I'd booked the restaurant because of its riverside location and wasn't disappointed. The very high ceiling and full length windows towards the river meant that it was a lovely light space to spend time in while watching the hustle and bustle of the South Bank. The service was timely, attentive and friendly without being intrusive. There were 4 choices for each course. We chose rabbit and black pudding terrine and mackerel tartar to start followed by duck breast and sea bass. All were well presented and good but not amazing. We enjoyed our desserts (chocolate and pecan brownie and berry compote and white chocolate mousse) with coffee and beautifully presented petit fours. We felt that we'd had a fair value meal in a lovely location. We'd recommend a visit for the views for nice but not outstanding food.

I found the restaurant ok, the bar was sticky, the doors grimy, and the pre theater and a la carte menu options disappointing. Service was good, and the food we ate was enjoyable, just overall a disappointing evening. Not as good as i was expecting.

The food and the restaurant was beautiful. Staff were a little bit disjointed. WE weren't sure which member of staff as looking after us, it felt we had one for drinks order, food order (the food came before the drinks!), checking to see if everything was ok,someone else if we wanted a 'top up', but overall very nice and good value (pre-show set menu).

Dined here for my Mum's birthday. Staff wished her happy birthday on arrival and for desert presented her with a Happy Birthday plate with a candle. Service was second to none, not rushed or pressured. Also extra effort was made for my brother who suffers with a peanut allergy in terms of the food provided. Food was delicious with a great combination of flavours. Will be recommending to friends and family of our experience.

We arrived almost 50 mins early but were shown to our table straight away - perfectly tucked away in the corner of the room, overlooking the river. The service was impeccable, attentive but not suffocating. We ordered light dishes - the crab starter followed by John Dory, both exquisitely prepared, whilst enjoying the view, as evening fell and the lights began to come on. We shared a delicious dessert of summer berries, and the Basil leaves were a fantastic touch to the heavenly vanilla cream. A truly magical evening.
