It was very nice, although the lamb I had was nice the sauce with the butter beans was slightly smoked which they did not put on the menu so I could not eat it all. Service was excellent. Very expensive though.

Food was nice enough, service good and really speedy. Is a nice location but disappointed with our table. I booked about 3 weeks before going and it said tables were allocated best on first come first serve basis so thought we’d be in for a good spot. We were put out on the terrace which seems nice but in reality on an autumn day, you’re sat with a giant metal frame right in your eye height so can’t see any of the view you planned for?? Understandable of course to have the glass frame due to the weather but there seemed plenty of tables in the actual restaurant which have the best view. These were tables of four, but there was plenty of space so no need to keep these for larger parties. I had booked in advance so was expecting a nice table. Not on the decking with an ugly frame that leaked water and restricted our view nearly entirely.

Best Restaurant Features - the views over Cambridge and the care taken to keep customers safe. This was a birthday treat for one of our party and our overall experience lived up to expectations as usual. The roast beef Sunday lunch is the best we've ever eaten in a restaurant - not cheap but still excellent value for money. Just one small criticism - the person who served us didn't realise that there were specials available on a Sunday, because he was new. A training issue I think.
