The Palais Coburg in Vienna is a new gourmet restaurant offering diners the very finest cuisine which is imaginative and creative ? a place for people who enjoy good food. Silvio Nickol is an award-winning chef who has succeeded in creating a unique and outstanding culinary experience at this luxurious 5-star establishment. In terms of decor, the Palais Coburg has recently undergone a complete makeover. Glass, wood, leather, a pleasant colour scheme and relaxed lighting give the place an intimate feel, creating just the right setting for an evening full of style and tradition. The culinary offering includes creative interpretations of classic dishes and exceptional gastronomic concoctions which combine wonderfully with the Coburg?s extensive wine selection. The Palais Coburg's wine sommelier Frank Smulders is the second European to have successfully completed the Master of Wine examination. A very impressive range of 5,000 different wines provides the perfect accompaniment to every meal and Herr Smulders is the right man for the job.

    Der Besuch im Palais Cobourg war wieder etwas Besonderes. Das Essen war bei allen 5 Gängen von außerordentlicher Qualität, ganz abgesehen von den excellenten "Grüßen aus der Küche". Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, aber nie aufdringlich. Der Sommelier hoch kompetent. Die Weinauswahl sucht auch in Deutschland seines Gleichen. Mehr als eine Empfehlung. Für Gourmets ein Muss.

    Herausragende Teller in Geschmack, Textur und Optik, die definitiv in Erinnerung bleiben!
    Angefangen von den Amuse-Bouches, dem Signature Dish von Silvio Nickol über den Spargel, den Heilbutt, das Maishendl, den Maibock, das Ziegenkitz bis hin zum Tomme Fleurette, den Desserts und den Petit Fours, war der gesamte Abend inklusive der exzellenten Weinbegleitung ein Genusshighlight. Der vortreffliche Service und das tolle Ambiente haben zu dem gelungenen Abend beigetragen. Tausend Dank an Silvio Nickol und sein gesamtes Team für den wunderbar entspannten Abend mit all den kulinarischen Höchstgenüssen :)

    Outstanding dishes in taste, texture and appearance that will definitely be remembered!
    Starting with the Amuse-Bouches, Silvio Nickol's Signature Dish, the asparagus, the halibut, the corn chicken, the roebuck, the goat lamb up to the Tomme Fleurette, the desserts and the Petit Fours, the whole evening including the excellent wine accompaniment was a pleasure highlight. The excellent service and the great ambience made the evening a memorable one. A thousand thanks to Silvio Nickol and his entire team for the wonderfully relaxed evening with all the culinary delights.
