The tonkatsu dishes were wonderful, with noodles done to my personal taste, and perfectly seasoned broth (tends to get salty elsewhere). Vegetarian options for my daughter were delicious, and I’ve never had a more luscious mojito, at happy hour prices, too!

Although the food was very good, the overall experience was poor. The restaurant was crowded and more like a Pret A Manger in style. The service was extremely poor: our wine order originally arrived incorrect, the table was not cleared before dessert and despite several members of staff, it was very hard to catch their attention. Given that the meal cost £151, the dining experience does not represent good value for money.

Buns are always good. However we asked for the bill several times so customer service could be better!

Small restaurant, tables v close so if you're on your own/don't want to talk, you can tune into your neighbours' conversations (there are charities who have fashion stylist interns? in Clapham?). Anyway it's always busy because the food is just wonderful, mostly classic Japanese with some crazy fusion dishes - all tasting totally lovely. Set menu good value if you like cocktails (I prefer sticking to their excellent sake selection).

Delicious and filling ramen. Wait staff seemed new but no problems eventuated. Food was quick to arrive.

Service was a bit rough; always seemed to be rushed and did not take a moment to really understand requests
