Guests can select extra toppings, as well as sides like prawn tempura, gyoza dumplings and doughy shoryu buns. Traditional desserts at Shoryu in Covent Garden include mochi balls, cleansing sorbets and Japanese-inspired cheesecakes and cakes.

Along with a list of enticing house cocktails, Shoryu in London serves iced beers and Japanese whisky, and resident sake experts are on hand to help with matching drinks.
