Restaurant description

Enjoying a 40-year-long legacy in Knightsbridge, Shezan has attracted a string of celebrities and royalty over the years for its Indian and Pakistani cuisine. The elaborate dining room features stunning decorative displays, huge ornate ornaments and glossy granite and gilded surfaces.

Made using the finest ingredients and offering a distinct twist on traditional recipes, the Shezan menu offers fresh seafood, succulent spiced meats and an ample vegetarian menu. Served sizzling from the tandoori charcoal grill, Shezan restaurant favourites include chef’s speciality lamb chops with a unique 9-spice blend, or a sharing mixed grill with succulent chicken, lamb and tandoori fish.

A chic cocktail bar at Shezan Knightsbridge offsets its exotic, heady surroundings with a host of refreshing, cosmopolitan mixes. A fine wine list is also served.

An emporium of Eastern delights, Shezan London has been awarded a string of culinary awards over the years, and also offers weekly live jazz sessions. Knightsbridge Tube Station is an 8-minute walk away.

Really slow service and upon booking I had requested for them to serve a small celebration cake to welcome my sister to London but this was ignored and not fulfilled! I love Indian food but my visit to Shezan was really disappointing. The quality of the food wasn’t good and the food wasn’t fresh either. The service was slow. Also my request upon booking was completely ignored. WILL NOT be going back or recommending to family or friends. Very disappointed!

Delicious and refined Indian cuisine, in the pure tradition. And thanks to the decor, we're already travelling! The welcome is warm and the staff kindly answered all our questions...A discovery, which I hope to share with other French people. Thank you, eager to come back !

We had high expectations. Food was ok, nothing great. Overall experience (for the price we paid) wasn't the best.
