We were the first to arrive at 11.30am. Seated very quickly. Service and food are good. Quite authentic. One red bean cake thing was sold out but it’s a blessing in disguise as we are full. It’s more personal choices but we like to have all if not most of our food came together rather than 1 dish at a time. Overall very good. Will go again.

We visited the restaurant to celebrate my partners birthday with another couple, on first entering the restaurant we were very impressed with the decor and quickly seated. However from here things went down hill, we had to ask for prawn crackers (never offered any when our drinks order was taken) one of the drinks we order had a fly in the bottom, the drink was exchanged for a fresh drink after telling a waitress. The first course came out very quickly and was enjoyed by all, the 2nd course was duck which should have been a half duck for the 4 of us, however only a quarter was brought to the table and another ordered from the kitchen. We then waited for over 30 minutes for our main course to be served after the duck, we assume this was down to a large table of 25 arriving just after us..? All in all we enjoyed the food however felt the service was not as it could have been, and then to receive a service charge of £16 on the bill well, that not right! Have to admit we left a little disappointed. Regards Richard Thornett
