Squeezed within the well-heeled grip of Marylebone, Seymour’s Restaurant & Bar is a plush nirvana, offering typically British cuisine and a sumptuous afternoon tea. Enjoying decadent surroundings, ornate open fireplaces inject crackling warmth into the grand dining room, whilst antique art adorns the sprawling walls.

Serving time-honoured British classics, the Seymour’s Restaurant menu features quintessential bangers and mash, together with a hearty helping of fresh fish and chunky chips. Fine china stands packed with sweet pastries, homemade scones and finely-trimmed finger sandwiches leads the Seymour’s Restaurant afternoon tea, accompanied by a selection of traditional English teas or a glass of buttery champagne.

Chunky, baroque curtains veil the large glass windows which overlook the iconic Marylebone streets, whilst illuminating the elaborately-patterned carpets. Regal but cosy armchairs litter the Seymour’s dining room, along with beautifully dressed tables.

A 3-minute walk from Marble Arch Tube Station, Seymour’s Restaurant in London is just a 4-minute walk to the famous Oxford Street.

We went for traditional afternoon tea as part of my mums birthday treat. We have been here before and would go again as it is a really nice calm place to relax with tea and cake.
The sandwiches were really good, nice and fresh with soft fluffy bread.
Great scones which were warm and lovely selection of petit fours.
I mentioned when booking that it was a special occasion and if they could do something to acknowledge it, thinking they may put happy birthday on one of the cakes or some small decorations, but no they did much more and when we were finished they brought out a cupcake on a plate with fruit etc for my mum with a candle in it! A very nice touch.
    Thank you Seymour's

From start to finish every member of staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. A very relaxing atmosphere. Some music perhaps? We especially enjoyed the decor and the fire places. The food was good. We were not too keen on the cucumber sandwiches though! Cakes were excellent, however would have preferred more sandwiches and less cakes. A good experience overall.

The best part of the experience was the staff, they were very attentive and accommodating. They let us be seated early, helped us with additional questions, and overall were very kind.

We had Afternoon Tea, the service was excellent, very nice people and the food was more than enough in a nice warm atmosphere behind Oxford Street! We sampled everything but didn't manage to finish, they even asked if we wanted to take the rest home! We would go again!
