The service was pretty rubbish considering post covid and having an operating business you think they would appreciate their customers abit more. Tea was ok abit stogy, hired a pod which had air con but no one had bothered to put it on so was scorching and showed me the pod on arrival and said it’s too hot sit in the garden without the option so hd to ask them to cool it down as I wanted the experience which was paid for. Asked what tea we wanted in the middle of a walk way not even sat down, asked for a menu and told we have normal tea. Asked again and only when I pushed was offered a menu. Voucher said champagne and was refused and only served Prosecco ?? Maybe I’m fussy but Iv done a lot of teas and the service was just pants! If I wasn’t so happy to see my friend after a lockdown and have such good company I wouldn’t have paid.

I am unsure how to rate this evening. When we got there no one greeted us and we had to figure out ourselves where to go. It became apparent quickly that we had go to the bar every time we wanted a drink (and they tried to changes us 12.5% each time for that privilege!) the experience of the glass domes was brilliant however there was no one to call if we wanted any assistance and no music playing in the background. The food, although was amazing the service of it was disappointing to say the least. We had paid for a 6course tasing menu and only received 3. Looking at the menu they had lumped some together but had also completely missed out courses and plates!when it was time to leave they didn’t give us warning and just said we are in extra time and had to leave! We asked them to take the service charge off the bill as we didn’t think it was worth the money and wanted to leave our own tip for which they looked at us disgustingly.

Dining experience was good, the pods were something special. The food was variable in dishes, so it was all of good taste and quantity. I could not criticise any stage of my visit from arrival to finish. Staff were good, thank you for making a nice evening.

Four of us dined at the secret winter garden. It was an amazing experience. Great food, very good service, and the domes were amazing...and warm. Would definitely recommend for an out of the ordinary dining experience.

Wonderful experience, food was excellent and service was very good. The pods were lovely and really enjoyed the private dining experience, looking out on the beautifully light gardens. More than enough food for the 5 of us and all very tasty and fresh. Missed the chocolates at the end which were on the menu on book a table but they apparently don’t offer anymore. A little background music in the pods would have been nice- this would have added to the music theme as really there was nothing making it music themed other than a picture of David Bowie. Didn’t detract from the experience though. We had some cocktails- the Ken’s punch champagne cocktail was lovely but not cheap! The elderflower Collins lacked any flavour and was more like a gin and tonic really. Would definitely return and recommend.

We were a group of 6 celebrating my niece's 15th birthday and we had a wonderfully special afternoon tea celebration in a gorgeous igloo in the secret garden. We thoroughly enjoyed it, the setting was wonderful and the staff were very kind and thoughtful. I would definitely recommend it.
