Restaurant description

St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar by Searcys are back serving you 7 days a week. Located on the Upper Concourse of St Pancras International Station, it is a grand 1920s setting.

The all-day Brasserie menu features their popular menu created by head chef Colin Layfield. Dishes include classics of Beer-battered haddock, minted peas and chips, a hearty Creedy Carver chicken pie, and Searcys plant-based dishes like Jerusalem artichoke spelt, wild mushrooms and truffle.

A new table layout across the Brasserie has been created to comply with social distancing.

The famous Champagne Bar by Searcys, the longest in Europe, offers separate leather-clad booths and buzzers at tables for drinks to be ordered directly to tables.

St Pancras by Searcys boasts amazing views of the Eurostar Terminal in an architecturally stunning Victorian setting. It is also an event space for up to 250 guests, the Brasserie offers private dining rooms and is perfect for group bookings.

We had a light lunch and could browse the menu according to our appetites and preferences (one vegetarian, one meat eater). The jerusalem artichoke soup was delicious and so was the game pate. The orange creme brulee was exactly right though the gingerbread ice-cream less so. A beautifully presented and delightful meal.

Nice food but really terrible service from the bar staff and the mangers (Morris was the only exception). It was almost an hour after we arrived we were served and it took almost four hours for us to eventually get dessert!

Could have been better! The menu from bookatable wasn't available even though it was still displayed on the website. The new menu is ok but if honest a little bland. We dined on a week night so the restaurant was quite but we were kept waiting between courses. Staff were pleasant but not attentive. They seemed bored or just uninterested with their surroundings. It's a shame as with something added and menue change could be a lot better. Location was perfect for friends catching train.

It was a busy night but the slowness of arrival of our food was extraordinary At one point there was an alarm and a tannoy voice telling people to vacate No one moved and none of the management said anything or offered explanation or reassurance. it was as if nothing had happened. The noise eventually went off. The food was very good but it did take an age to arrive

A well furnished restaurant with a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious and well presented food, with some original dishes. I had the set menu and it was fantadtic value.

To my mind the meal did not get off to the best start when the waiter completely ignored me and went straight to my husband, despite catching my eye first. My husband had to direct him back to me as I had made the booking. It's been a while since women were seen but not heard! Whilst the food was nice, the service was slow and at times it appeared that there was no-one around at all. Granted we had a set menu, but that should not affect the level of service you receive - or should it?
