Bone in the fish dish. We were expecting a deboned fish or at least an apology.

Ambience and appearance was breathtaking. We had a good introduction to our table. However the salmon starter was disappointing due to lack of seasoning. I have to say that some of the service staff are great but others not so. When our food was served the server gave his colleague a derogatory eye roll as she took a second to recall which order was for whom. There is nothing wrong with taking a moment to get this correct and I don’t think this waitress was properly supported by her colleague. Also I didn’t pay more expensively than usual for a less quality service and less quality food than your competitors. The main meal was good but it tasted like mutton instead of lamb. The dessert was served before the refresher and we had to remind service staff to serve it. For these reasons I’m afraid to say I’ll not be back.

The overall experience was very nice, kind staff, clean environment, and nice live music. It was also nice to be seated by the windows as we arrived. If I had to comment on the food, the starter salmon was too salty and the lamb had a strange smell. Additionally, I find it a bit pushy when the waiter kept asking if we wanted any more drinks. Finally, the optional service charge didn't feel so "optional" as I thought the meal was pre-paid and the water bottle was included.

Great iconic London building. We went for the set meal which was great, however house wine at forty pounds a bottle is not! Far too expensive for most and we only found out when the bill arrived. Some of the staff are a little disengaged, at the dimly lit reception and cloakroom for example, and we had to ask for assistance. The restaurant is curiously lacking in atmosphere however but that maybe could be that we went on a Monday lunchtime. The bar upstairs was deserted so we want elsewhere afterwards. So great to go once to see the building and the food was great. Probably wouldn't rush to return.

The employees working at the restaurant were not so friendly. When we got the food we saw that we would need one more sauce. We tried to stop a waiter and ask if they could bring us one, but they didn't seem to care about us. In the end we gave up we thought someone would come at our table and ask if the food was good and then we thought we would take the opportunity to ask about the sauce, but no one came and asked if the food was good, not even a glance. The food was totally okay. However, the service gets a big thumbs down. Our summary was that we could get better service and the same food in a much cheaper place. A thing that was also sad was that we got a place by the wall, so far from the nice view. This was very strange as there were so many places available closer to the view. The drinks we ordered were good.

Lovely place, very loud as it’s busy, booked our table for 8pm as we had to travel a long way , but was kept waiting till 9.15 for our table. Then waiting another half an hour to be served by which time my husband had to say something to the staff. Food was ok. Service after this was lovely. The bar area was quieter by 11pm so we could then see the lovely views .
