The restaurant view of the city was spectacular, the staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The menu had a good selection and I really enjoyed the food. I was particularly looking forward to the earl grey ice cream and the scoop of ice cream was surprisingly small. The drinks menu didn't cater much for non-alcoholic drinkers, the drink I chose was pleasant. Overall I did enjoy the experience, we did want to watch the sunset but during the Summer the sunset occurs after the restaurant is closed so I'll visit again!

Had such a lovely day at Searcys with my friend. From the moment we arrived and was taken to the bar to the end of the meal, we felt special. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food superb. We went last summer too and thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon. I have rebooked for 1 September as a treat for my husband. Can't wait!

Great view. Reasonable value for 3 course lunch special. Lunch was delicious but small plates (if you have big appetite). Best deal cheese tray for additional 5 pounds. Staff quite pleasant though mistakenly doubled our bill! Be prepared for lots of security. Wouldn't recommend for kids.

Obviously the on top of the Gherkin is a great venue for a restaurant. No more needs to be said about this.
Quite a lot of hype with various celebrity chefs involved.
Service was good though not excellent, lot of leaning over us rather than coming from the side, especially for such a restaurant grade.
The sommelier was knowledgeable and was able to explain what a the wine was all about.
Menu entrees were excellent, Mains a little limited in selection especially when there are 2 fish plates and only 5 choices 1 being fish and chips!
Food was nice but typically pre-prepared in advance- eg lamb was obviously pre cooked then rolled probably in plastic then sliced when needed. The telling thing was we asked for medium rare and medium lamb as requested by the waiter and they came out all the same.
We also felt rather rushed as the courses came through rapidly. We felt that we were in a cheap eats and the business wanted the table back so they could seat more. The restaurant was not that full.

    Come for the views.

It was great. Stunning views. Particularly from bar. Helpful and friendly staff. Food was good and because it was Friday not too crowded.

Booked it expecting the food to be average but was actually really good. I had the lamb well done (requested) and that was delicious! 10/10 would recommend
