The food we had was excellent. Lamb kofta and chicken satay to start. Beef cheek and lamb shank for main course and sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

We had the pork belly and rump steak both of which were excellent and reasonably priced.

Very attentive waiter until the end, we waited about 45 minutes for our pudding due to the busy kitchen. The food was fantastic, the wait didn’t ruin our overall experience. We would recommend and visit again.

Pretty average experience overall. We didn’t get the full value of the [voucher] as hotel said they couldn’t do proper cocktails as bar not open. Food tasty but not helped by fact you can see chefs in open kitchen - one had a mask on but below his nose and the other had no mask or gloves and openly touched the food. Nice staff waiting on tables. Won’t return.

Not a huge choice of cocktails, but nice anyway. I had the chicken satay to start and the cod with orzo as a main. Both were very good and the service was good too.

Well on arriving very impressive lovely atmosphere, nice looking restaurant and staff very welcoming. We were informed all about one way system, but very surprised in times like these no track and trace in place, which I would have through was a must. It was my friends 70th birthday so this was a treat for her. Starter was good but sadly the main was very disappointing as I ordered the coast salmon orzo which was so salty I could not eat it and my friend's lamb harissa couscous was so spicy she could not eat. We did have the price taken off the bill but it would have been better to have an enjoyable meal. Pudding was ok nothing special. It was a very disappointing evening as we were really looking forward to having a good meal. Also I was very surprised when I checked my bill later that you are charging service charge as I did not see this on your menu. £10.50 on top is a lot of money .
