A pioneer of the paleo dining scene, the restaurant Sauvage in Berlin’s Prenzlauerberg is the first of its kind in the world. Paleo, a gastronomic concept that involves a modern interpretation of our prehistoric ancestors’ diet.

Not only is Sauvage Germany’s first paleo restaurant, but also the worlds, and its unique concept sees dishes prepared solely with natural, unprocessed foods and no processed ingredients. The result is an increase in nutritional value. Produce such as rice, flour, sugar and pasta do not feature on the menu at Sauvage, but expect juicy steaks and vegetarian delights. The wine list, equally well-thought out, teams well with the cuisine at Sauvage.

Purposefully spartan in its design, Sauvage retains a remarkable image despite being newly renovated and the accompanying bar, seating more than 80 guests and serving delectable tapas dishes, has an age-old feel.

The Sauvage is in the Winsviertel part of Prenzlauerberg in Berlin with multiple tram and S-Bahn stops in close proximity.
