Our experience was lovely. The food and tea was quite nice and filling. The hotel is beautifully decorated.

Was very disappointing, not at all like we expected. More effort could have been made with the atmosphere and the service was poor too. The cake and sandwich towers were already made and just sitting in the open air waiting for a table to require them meaning that any manner of germs or flies even could land on them. There was no choice of cocktail you were told which one you were having and the food was very overpowering. The cakes all extremely sweet. An experience but definitely won't be reccommending or going backs

Food excellent ,disappointing dining area very loud felt more like a canteen , service reasonable . Would have liked more Alice in wonderland references . My guest and I felt disappointed overall because the actual food was very good

staff were very friendly and courteous. We arrived a bit early and they managed to sit us down a bit earlier. The courtyard was beautiful with tropical planting and a lovely water feature which added to the theme of the afternoon tea. The food was lovely and the cakes were beautiful. We were asked if we would like more sandwiches or cakes but we were so full we had to decline and we took what we couldn't eat home in a box. So good value for money.

The afternoon tea is really nice. If your table is inside it isn't very charming.

Enjoyable afternoon tea - really tasty food, all well presented. Took my teenage granddaughter who was very impressed.

Firstly, two of us sat down at a table that had only one place setting. The additional cutlery etc. was then brought except for a water glass which took several minutes to acquire - even after my fellow diner's glass was filled! Poor attention to detail. Obviously very gimmicky given the theme. Felt like a conveyor belt and very noisy atmosphere. Staff not overly attentive considering they were looking after a small space. The sandwiches were not overly fresh. Good selection of cakes and the scones were very tasty. Not enough traditional leaf tea selection, only 5 specialist ones and English Breakfast or Earl Grey. There are far superior London afternoon tea
experiences in this price range. Pre-tea cocktails at the bar were excellent.
