We are a gay couple who had our one year anniversary dinner at Sam's Brasserie. The restaurant was easy to find and we were welcomed with a big smile. We were offered drinks, bread and butter as soon as we were comfortable. I did find it slightly annoying that there was'nt any side plate and had to leave my bread on the table. It was very tasty however and we asked for more! Our waitress was very friendly and made sure everything was running smoothly. She did however forget to place the main course cutlery on the table before the main course arrived, but this was rectified within seconds and we did not need to point it out either. The food and presentation was excellent. My medium cooked steak was slightly under cooked and I would say it was more to the rare side. We shared a trio of homemade ice creams for dessert and it was delicious! It was a very enjoyable expierance and I would highly recommend it. With a little more attention to detail it would have been a 10/10!
