Head Chef Tom Radiguet and his team focus on the freshest available local produce including Rockefeller oysters from Jersey’s Royal Bay. Offering all-day dining in the main restaurant, Samphire is also home to 2 intimate bars, a terrace and an all-weather rooftop garden.
Showcasing creativity and innovation, the Samphire menu leads with meticulously crafted dishes like smoked salmon with granary bread or beef tartare with sea vegetables, and follows with dishes like pigeon with korma spice and mango chutney, or mushroom risotto with artichoke and truffle.

Food, drinks and service were all amazing. Favourite drink was the Aviation cocktail with the dried garnishes. The pork loin was my favourite dish. Prices reasonable for the quality

food: well done Tom. Loved the frozen sorbet with the crab, nice light dish. the calamari was lovely too not as varied in individual taste but still a nice dish. Shame there wasn't enough beef to go round but our combined fillets was lovely. Of course oysters great. things that I miss: what is going on with a wine menu separated into prices?! Amar would 'turn in his coffee shop' (grave)! Bonkers idea. Very cheapening. Also bit shite that everyone around us was given a wine menu but us on arrival. Has a touch of the assumptions dear friends. I shouldnt have to pour the wine, the attention to the tables was lacking,as was the old days where one would go to the toilet and the napkins would be folded. And at a high dining restaurant you should have table cloths. That being said, the waitress and the bar man were attentive to our needs, bringing drinks to us outside and being very approachable.

Unfortunately not a good experience.On arrival pleasantly greeted and sat on roof terrace where there were around 9 men in their late 20s. Heard the odd ***** bomb and **** words. Obviously not the restaurants fault but not nice. Ordered 4 glasses of Pink champagne, decided to get a bottle as worked out same or cheaper. We were brought White but were charged £25 extra for pink on the bill. When taken downstairs to eat at 8 pm we got water and wine but had to ask at 8.35 if we were getting bread or our starters?? It then arrived soon after, so a bit slow in my opinion. There was no presentation of the wine, ie region, flavours which you may expect from a Michelin star restaurant. The service was slow and a bit awkward. We didn’t leave a tip and had to ask for the removal of the champagne overcharge. The food was okay, nothing was wow.

We had a most enjoyable evening in every respect: the food (from the set menu) was delicious; service was friendly and with personality without reducing its correctness; we appreciated the flexibility of being able to choose a dish from outside the set menu (but treated as if it were part of the set menu) to accommodate the need of one of us to have no alcohol; the restaurant is comfortable and elegant and the value was outstanding
