    Slow service. Not great food.

Food was good, for the price. Room rather noisy despite not many customers in the room, would not like to be there when it is full. Floor needs carpeting and pictures etc on the walls. Afternoon tea should be a quieter affair. We spend many a weekend afternoon trying out different locations, this is not one of our best, but good value for money.

Wonderful food freshly cooked by a chef who obviously cares and is creative. Presentation was also lovely.
Thank you County Hotel. A world away from generic chain ping food!

Afternoon tea was lovely. Delicious sandwiches and lovely scones with cream and jam. It was my friend's birthday and staff brought her a cake with a candle which was super cool and we all sang happy bitthday to her. Had a pleasant experience. It was very quiet yhought, I would prefer more movement and more life... But we all enjoyed it.

Afternoon tea. Sandwiches were a bit disappointing . Eggmayo had to much onion the ham had few to many grains in .
    But the cakes were lovely

Food was very tasty so we fully recommend that aspect. The downside was that the room lacks atmosphere whereas not too much work could make huge improvements to make a more welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
Also by 9.15 staff clearing the laid up tables that weren't used made us feel a little like we should be eating up!!
    But the food was great!

We have eaten here several times including with a large party of disabled people and the staff could not be more discreet and accommodating to their needs. The food is consistently good We have never been disappointed.

We liked the food, but the hot drinks were a bit on the luke warm side, and the waitress was a bit absent when we wanted more to drink. Also, it would have been nice to have a clean cup when I changed from coffee to tea.
