Amazing tapas restaurant - really great vibe and lovely food. The chorizo in red wine was to die for.

We've been meaning to visit Tabanco for some time for a meal. We'd popped in for coffee a couple of times and loved how authentic it felt. And I'm glad to say that it didn't disappoint. Delicious tapas, both traditional and some more modern ones with a twist. We had some friends visiting from New York and they were also highly impressed with the menu, price and selection of wines and sherries. We'll definitely be coming back again.

The whole experience was utterly amazing. The food is of the greatest level and truly Spanish - with a little added twist that brings it to the next level. Staff is very helpful and responsive to requests and the idea of serving courses in a tapas-style helps create a more familiar and cosier atmosphere. The choice of wines is satisfying, although slightly less so that of beers, but this is really a minor, absolutely unimportant point.

The food was small, over-priced and not very good. We were a table of 4 and ordered 7 dishes between us. None of them were impressive tasting and we left hungry. The best was goats cheese and honey, but of course that didn't involve any cooking. Each dish was between £5 and £10 and really wasn't worth it. The drinks were good but pricey too. Gin and tonic for £10. Negroni about £8.

Good food & good value for money. Clearly popular with locals as it was very busy. Very small restaurant.
